Trans Nzoia County Launches First Emergency Medical Care Plan

Trans Nzoia County marked World Emergency Medicine Day on Monday, May 27th, by launching its inaugural Emergency Medical Care Plan. The comprehensive strategy aims to ensure that the county’s residents have access to high-quality emergency medical services. Sam Ojwang, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health, who represented Governor George Natembeya, unveiled the plan. The Emergency Medical Care Plan’s development saw various stakeholders’ collaboration, including the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation, USAID Ampath Uzima, Kenya Red Cross, the Fire Department, and numerous private medical facilities within Trans Nzoia.
