We recently conducted a critical Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training for healthcare providers at the Migori County Referral Hospital Emergency Department.

Facilitated by EMKF in partnership with the County Government of Migori, this training equips frontline teams with the skills and tools needed for rapid, accurate diagnostics during emergencies — a vital capability in any functional Emergency Department.

To further strengthen emergency medical care in the county, we concluded the training by donating a state-of-the-art POCUS machine to the emergency department.

Every equipped and functional public Emergency Department brings Kenya one step closer to ensuring that no one dies from a treatable emergency.
