Dharura: Global Emergency Care, a UK-based charity, was awarded a £300,000 grant in 2024 from the UK Department of Health & Social Care, managed by THET (Tropical Health and Education Trust), aiming to build a network of emergency care development between the UK and Kenya. This grant allowed them and Laikipia County to work with the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF) to develop a network of training, development, and partnership that is more widely available across the UK and Kenya!!
