We collaborated with the Department of Health Services—Mombasa County to train 20 Community Health Officers in basic first aid to strengthen emergency healthcare systems at the community level. The Community Health Officers are expected to be Trainers of Trainers (ToTs) and cascade the same to Community Health Promoters (CHPs).

Community healthcare workers (CHWs) are often the first responders in emergencies, providing lifesaving care before the ambulance arrives or patients reach hospitals. 🙌💙
