We are thrilled to share that Ambulensi, our end-to-end ambulance services coordination platform, was ranked the top innovation at the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) Health Innovation Fair held on May 28, 2025, at Maseno University.
Organised by LREB and supported by Insight Health Advisors, the fair spotlighted cutting-edge health solutions under the theme “Improving and Saving Lives through Scalable hashtag#Health hashtag#Innovations.“ With over a dozen outstanding organisations presenting their innovations, Ambulensi emerged first following a rigorous evaluation process that assessed demand alignment, public sector feasibility, scalability, sustainability, and potential for impact.
Ambulensi is redefining how counties manage emergency medical services by enabling:
- Real-time ambulance dispatch and GPS tracking
- Seamless referral coordination through digital tools
- Integrated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and clinical protocols for emergency care
This recognition reinforces a powerful truth: Kenya is ready for a new era in emergency medical care. At EMKF, we are committed to building sustainable, evidence-based public emergency healthcare systems to save lives.
