18 Hours is an award-winning Kenyan fictional film based on true events written & directed by Njue Kevin, produced by Ruguru Phoebe with Bill Jones Afwani. The film stars Nick Ndeda, Brian Ogola and Sue Wanjiru and follows a rookie paramedic who spends 18 hours in an ambulance  fighting for the life of a road crash victim who struggles to get admission into hospital.  Rocque Pictures partnered with Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation and Chapter One on this project.

David Rudisha comes out in support of emergency care in Kenya​

On the premiere of the movie 18 HOURS (November 10th 2017), David Rudisha (2012 and 2016 Olympic champion, 2-time World Champion (2011 and 2015), and world record holder in the 800 metres) joined us to make a statement about emergency care in Kenya…he didn’t have to and definitely didn’t gain anything from it but he understood that we need to address the problem and dedicated his evening to play his part…so to all those who play their part every day saving lives…Thank You! You are our Everyday Hero!
